Baar's late tally the difference as No. 8 Women's Soccer wins at Grace

WINONA LAKE, Ind. - In a tightly contested Crossroads League clash, the No. 8 ranked Spring Arbor University women's soccer team edged out Grace College with a 1-0 victory on Wednesday night in Winona Lake, Indiana. The crucial game-winning goal came late in the match, securing a significant conference win for the Cougars.

Throughout the first half, both teams struggled to find the back of the net, leaving the score tied at 0-0 by halftime. It wasn't until the 85th minute that Kayla Baar broke the deadlock with a goal that was assisted by Lauren Marshall.

Spring Arbor's goalkeeper, Reagan Kohler, played a pivotal role in preserving the lead recording two saves en route to securing her fifth shutout of the season.

Looking ahead, the Cougars are set to face Taylor University on Saturday, Oct. 19 in Upland, Indiana.
