SPRING ARBOR, Mich. — The Spring Arbor University men's soccer team earned a convincing 6-0 win against the Taylor Trojans in a Crossroads League showdown Saturday at the Cougar Soccer Complex.
The win improves Spring Arbor to 9-6-1 overall and 3-3-1 in conference play.
Rood Schnaider,
David Magalhaes,
Sahel Yessen, and
Jack Voight were pivotal in driving the offensive power for Spring Arbor. Schnaider and Yessen netted two goals each, including the game-winner by Schnaider early in the match at 12:02.
Magalhaes contributed significantly not only with a goal but also in setting up his teammates with other assists coming from
Guilherme Micaelo,
Francis Kwashie, and
Matheus Cunha.
Between the posts, goalkeepers
Jack Cristini and
Victor Jaunay combined to secure Spring Arbor's impressive sixth shutout of the season.
Spring Arbor finished the match with a 28-10 shot advantage over the Trojans.
