Box Score SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University women's basketball team picked up a 90-57 win over Indiana University Columbus on Saturday afternoon inside the McDonald Athletic Center.
Alana Nelson notched her second straight double-double her 21 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Cougars and push their season record to a perfect 3-0 to start the year.

GAME NOTES
- Spring Arbor and Indiana Columbus were tied 8-8 in the early moments, but an 8-0 run gave the Cougars a lead they would never relinquish.
- Indiana Columbus kept within striking distance throughout the first half, but Spring Arbor was able to put the game out of reach in the third quarter and cruise to its third straight victory.
- Alana Nelson posted her second straight double-double with 21 points and 13 rebounds. Megan Zeitz followed with 13 points, including knocking down three 3-pointers. Emma Smieska added 12 points and six steals while Bailey Vissman chipped in nine points. Ashley Weller had eight points and six rebounds and Alayna Kulesza had seven points and eight rebounds.
- Spring Arbor dominated the glass, out-rebounding Indiana Columbus 54-34. Of SAU's 54 rebounds, 22 came on the offensive end leading to 25 second-chance points.
- The Cougars also forced 24 turnovers – the third straight game forcing at least 20 – and turned those takeaways into 30 points.
