INDIANAPOLIS – The Spring Arbor University women's basketball team fell suffered its first Crossroads League loss of the season, falling to No. 19 Marian University 69-51 on Saturday afternoon in Indianapolis.

- Marian raced out to a 21-5 lead after the first quarter.
- The next three quarters were tightly contested with the teams separated by just two points. However, the early deficit was too much for the Cougars to overcome.
- Three SAU players finished in double figures. Emma Smieska had 13 points, Alana Nelson had 12 and Alayna Kulesza had 10.
