SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – Freshman
Maislin Joldersma recorded the first two-goal game of her career as the Spring Arbor University women's soccer team defeated Bethel College 6-0 in the quarterfinal round of the Crossroads League Tournament on Wednesday at the Cougar Soccer Complex.
The No. 11 ranked Cougars will host Grace College, who defeated Taylor University 2-1 to advance, in the tournament semifinals on Saturday, Nov. 9 starting at 3 p.m.

MATCH NOTES
- Joldersma got the scoring started with a strike just over 10 minutes into the contest.
- Spring Arbor took a 2-0 lead into halftime and put the game out of reach quickly in the second half. Joldersma found the back of the net again less than a minute into the second stanza. Then, in the 54th minute, fellow freshman Claire VanZanten scored to give SAU a commanding 4-0 advantage.
- Five different Cougars found the scoring column. Joining Joldersma and VanZanten were Fara Serra, Ayla Thompson and Annika Arsenault.
- Spring Arbor dominated the shot count, amassing 24 shots to Bethel's three.
- Goalkeeper Reagan Kohler – the reigning NAIA Defensive Player of the Week – stopped the only shot she face to extend her shutout streak to five games.

Spring Arbor, the tournament's No. 1-seed, will host No. 4-seed Grace (13-3-2) in the Crossroads League Tournament Semifinals on Saturday, Nov. 9 starting at 3 p.m.
The winner advances to the tournament championship match on Wednesday, Nov. 13.
