PENSACOLA, Fla. – Spring Arbor University's season came to a close on Monday afternoon as the No. 8-seeded Cougars fell 1-0 to No. 9-seeded SCAD Savannah (Ga.) in the Round of 16 at the 2024 NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship.
SCAD scored the game's lone goal in the final minute of the first half.
Spring Arbor finished the season with a 17-4-0 overall record and made an appearance at the national tournament final site for the 10th time in 11 seasons.

MATCH NOTES
- SCAD Savannah took a 1-0 lead into halftime after scoring with 46 seconds left in the opening period. The Bees held Spring Arbor without a shot in the first stanza while recording 11 themselves.
- Spring Arbor created several dangerous chances out of the intermission with five shots in the first five minutes, but SCAD was able to keep the Cougars off the scoreboard.
- On the other end, Reagan Kohler, the Crossroads League co-Defensive Player of the Year, kept SAU's comeback hopes alive making several big stops, including a point-blank save in the 76th minute.
- After the onslaught of shots at the beginning of the second half, the Cougars were unable to get another look at the goal as the Bees held on and advanced to the national quarterfinals.
- Kohler finished with seven saves.
- Spring Arbor finished with seven shots while SCAD registered 14.
