MARION, Ind. – Despite a determined effort, the Spring Arbor University women's basketball came up just short against No. 2 Indiana Wesleyan University, 69-59, on Saturday in Marion, Indiana.
The Cougars gave IWU all it could handle, trailing by just four with two minutes remaining in the game, but the Wildcats, who maintained their undefeated record, were perfect at the free throw line down the stretch to hang on.
Alana Nelson led SAU with 21 points and nine rebounds while
Megan Zeitz added 18 points.
