CLERMONT, Fla. – The Spring Arbor University softball team dropped a pair of games in Florida on Tuesday evening, falling 1-0 to Dordt University and 4-0 to Bellevue University.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- Emmalee Hamp pitched six outstanding innings, but a run by Dordt in the first inning would prove to be the difference.
- Hamp was dominant after surrendering the early run, blanking the Defenders over five frames while allowing just three hits.
- The SAU offense had its chances but was unable to get the key hit it needed. The Cougars left two on base in the first and fourth innings, and had the tying run aboard in the fifth.
- Hamp finished with seven strikeouts over six innings of work, allowing just one hit and one run.
VS. BELLEVUE

GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- The Spring Arbor bats were held in check again in the second game of the evening. The Cougars were held scoreless while collecting just three hits.
- Bellevue pushed two runs across in the third inning and one in the fourth. The Bruins bumped their lead to 4-0 in the sixth inning on a solo home run.
- Elena Jones pitched five innings surrendering three runs on four hits while striking out five batters. Tammy Craven tossed two innings in relief allowing one run on one hit with two strikeouts.

Spring Arbor will look to bounce back against both teams on Thursday. The Cougars play Bellevue at 10:15 a.m. and will meet Dordt again at 12:30 p.m.
