YORKTOWN, Ind. – The Spring Arbor University men's golf team opened the 2024-25 season at The Players Club Invitational, hosted by Taylor University.
The Cougars finished third in the 10-team field with a score of 913 turning in rounds of 303, 299 and 311.
Blaze Tanner finished sixth out of 62 players carding a 223, including a two-under par 70 in round two.
Taylor ran away with the team title, winning the event by 26 shots with a three-round score of 877. The University of Northwestern Ohio came in second with a 903.
