Serra scores twice to lead Women's Soccer past Rochester Christian

WASHINGTON, Mich. - In a non-conference clash, the Spring Arbor University women's soccer team secured a 5-2 victory over Rochester Christian University on Wednesday afternoon at the Michigan Stars Sports Center in Washington, Mich. The Cougars demonstrated their dominance on the field, finishing the first half ahead with a 2-1 lead before sealing the deal in the second.

Fara Serra was a standout performer, netting two goals to lead the way. Lauren Marshall, Paige Beaudry, and Claire VanZanten also made significant contributions by scoring a goal each. The game-winning goal came from Beaudry at the 78:15 mark of the second period. Assists came from Jocelyn Hendricks and Rachel Tanielian.

Reagan Kohler, the Cougars' goalkeeper, was instrumental in their victory, making three crucial saves throughout the 90 minutes of play.

Looking ahead, the Cougars are set to face Lindsey Wilson College on Sep. 7 in Columbia, Ky.
