SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The No. 14 ranked Spring Arbor University women's soccer team continued its impressive run of form Saturday afternoon, storming past Mount Vernon Nazarene University 4-0 at the Cougar Soccer Complex.
The Cougars struck twice in the opening eight minutes and never looked back, extending their unbeaten streak to nine matches and improving to 8-1-4 overall and 4-0-1 in Crossroads League play.

MATCH SUMMARY
- Spring Arbor's attack wasted no time putting pressure on the visitors. Just 5:37 into the match, Karly Miller opened the scoring with her seventh goal of the season, finishing off a feed from Isa Martinez. Less than two minutes later, Martinez doubled the advantage with a goal of her own.
- The Cougars kept the momentum rolling, and in the 35th minute, Miller struck again—her second of the match and eighth of the year—off an assist from Alyssa Pringle to give SAU a commanding 3-0 lead at halftime.
- Spring Arbor controlled play throughout, outshooting MVNU 21-4 and earning 12 corner kicks in the second half alone. Martinez added her second assist of the day late in the match on one of those corner kicks, finding Ayla Thompson in the box, who's header found the net in the 90th minute for her first goal of the season.
- The Cougars recorded their seventh shutout of the year. Goalkeeper Reagan Kohler finished with two saves on the day.
