SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – Spring Arbor University's Jack Cristini has been named the Crossroads League Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week award, the conference office announced Monday.

The honor is the second of the season for Cristini and the fourth of his career.

Cristini helped lead the Cougars to a 2-0 win over Mount Vernon Nazarene University in the lone match of the week for SAU. The senior goalie registered three saves in the victory to record his sixth shutout of the season.

Spring Arbor (8-5-1, 3-1-1 CL) welcomes No. 21 Grace College (9-3-2, 3-2-0 CL) to the Cougar Soccer Complex on Wednesday, Oct. 15. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
