SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – Spring Arbor University climbed one spot to No. 13 in the fourth regular season edition of the NAIA Women's Soccer Coaches' Top 25 Poll, released by the national office on Wednesday.
Spring Arbor is 3-0 since the last poll, including a victory over then-No. 19 Taylor. Overall, SAU is 8-1-4 and 4-0-1 in Crossroads League play, and currently owns a nine-game unbeaten streak.
The Cougars are one of five Crossroads League teams in the latest poll. Joining SAU is No. 3 Marian, No. 6 Indiana Wesleyan, No. 16 Taylor and No. 17 Grace.
Karly Miller leads the team with eight goals while
Claire VanZanten has tallied five.
Isa Martinez has three goals and a team-high three assists.
Spring Arbor faces back-to-back ranked opponents on the road. The Cougars travel to No. 17 Grace (10-2-2, 3-2-0 CL) on Wednesday, Oct. 15 before heading to Indianapolis to take on No. 3 Marian (12-0-1, 4-0-1 CL) on Saturday, Oct. 18.
