INDIANAPOLIS — The No. 13 ranked Spring Arbor University women's soccer team dropped a 3-1 decision on the road to No. 3 Marian University on Monday night in a battle of two nationally ranked Crossroads League contenders.

MATCH SUMMARY
- The Knights struck early, capitalizing just two minutes into the match to grab a 1-0 lead. Spring Arbor regrouped after the early goal and created several chances in the first half, outshooting Marian 7-2, but could not find the equalizer before the break.
- The Cougars broke through in the 55th minute when Jessie Postma found the back of the net to even the score at 1-1.
- Marian, however, responded late — scoring twice in a three-minute span in the 80th and 83rd minutes to put the match out of reach.
- Postma's goal was her second of the season while Isa Martinez was credited with her team-leading fourth assist.
