Women's Soccer places five on All-Crossroads League Teams

SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – Five members of the Spring Arbor University women's soccer team have been recognized with All-Crossroads League honors following another strong campaign for the Cougars.

Sophomores Kayla Baar and Ayla Thompson were both named to the All-Crossroads League First Team, while Karly Miller, Isa Martinez, and Reagan Kohler received Honorable Mention recognition.

Baar, from Plainwell, Michigan, earned a spot on the First Team after recording four goals, including two game-winners, and one assist. Thompson, a key part of the Cougars' back line, was also named First Team for the second consecutive year, anchoring a defense that ranked among the best in the league.

Miller, Martinez, and Kohler each earned Honorable Mention honors. Miller had a breakout campaign where she led the Cougars in scoring with eight goals and three assists while Martinez added three goals and a team-high four assists from the midfield. In goal, Kohler — last season's Crossroads League Co-Defensive Player of the Year — continued to impress, posting a 0.87 goals against average and 10 shutouts.
