SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – Spring Arbor University landed at No. 21 in the postseason edition of the NAIA Women's Soccer Coaches' Top 25 Poll, released by the national office on Wednesday.
Spring Arbor ended the season with a 10-5-6 record and made its 16th consecutive appearance in the NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship. The Cougars defeated Holy Cross College 5-0 in the first round of the national tournament, but dropped its next game 2-1 in overtime to No. 4 ranked Missouri Valley College.
Karly Miller was SAU's leading scorer with 11 goals while also adding four assists.
Claire VanZanten followed with seven goals and
Kayla Baar added four.
Isa Martinez tallied three goals and four assists. Goalkeeper
Reagan Kohler owned a 0.89 goals against average and recorded 11 shutouts.
