FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Spring Arbor University women's basketball team dropped its regular season finale on Saturday 77-57 to No. 9 ranked University of Saint Francis.
Alana Nelson scored a game-high 32 points while sinking a career-best six 3-pointers. She also added 12 rebounds to record her fourth straight double-double and 14th of the season.

GAME NOTES
- Spring Arbor trailed by only one point after the first quarter, 16-15, Saint Francis would widen the margin to double digits in the second quarter and take a 39-28 lead into halftime.
- The Cougars stayed within striking distance of No. 9 USF in the third quarter behind Nelson's 13 points in the period. However, the home team was able to pull away in the fourth quarter.
- Nelson finished with 32 points on 9-of-19 shooting, including a career-high six 3-pointers. She also hauled in 12 rebounds to record her 14th double-double of the season.
- Spring Arbor held the edge on the glass, out-rebounding Saint Francis 36-26 but USF was able to limit the Cougars to 29 percent shooting from the field while making 48 percent of its shots.
