SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – Spring Arbor University's
Kayla Tafanelli has been named an NAIA Second Team All-American, the national office announced Thursday prior to the start of the NAIA Women's Bowling National Championship.
It is the second straight year Tafanelli earned All-American status after taking home Third Team honors as a freshman in 2023-24.
Tafanelli, a sophomore from Warren, Michigan, led the Cougars to six tournament victories this season and helped the team capture its fourth consecutive Crossroads League title. She averaged a 200.0 over 43 games bowled and had eight top-10 finishes in 11 events, including five first place finishes.
In addition to receiving All-American accolades, Tafanelli was also recently named the Crossroads League Women's Bowler of the Year and earning her second straight First Team All-League selection.
