SPRING ARBOR, Mich. - Spring Arbor University's Ella Steinke has been named the Crossroads League Women's Bowler of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.  

Steinke helped the Cougars sweep the first two Crossroads League tournaments of the year over the weekend. The sophomore from Joliet, Illinois finished at the top of the leaderboard in Friday's event with 574 total pins over three games for a 191 average. She followed that up with 392 pins over two games on Saturday, including a 237 game. 

Spring Arbor, currently ranked seventh in the national RPI, has now won five tournaments this season. The Cougars return to action on Dec. 18-19 at the Glenn Carlson Las Vegas Invitational in Las Vegas, Nevada.
