SPRING ARBOR, MI – The Spring Arbor baseball team returned to Huntington on Saturday afternoon with hopes of making up ground in the Crossroads League standings, with only two games separating second and seventh place heading into the day. In game one, Huntington took an early lead and never looked back, scoring six runs in the first four frames, to go up 6-0. Spring Arbor would show some fight in the later innings, scoring a single run in the fifth, eighth, and ninth, but it wasn't enough, as Huntington cruised to a 7-3 win. Game two was a similar story, as Huntington jumped early yet again, scoring six runs in the first four innings for the second straight game. The Spring Arbor bullpen would hold the Foresters scoreless in the last two frames, and the Cougars would once again show some fight, but could not capitalize, and fell in game two, 6-3.
