MATCH SUMMARY
- Spring Arbor put the pressure on from the opening whistle and tested the Trinity Christian goalkeeper often. The Trolls were able to keep the Cougars off the scoreboard for most of the first half, but SAU was able to breakthrough in the 38th minute behind a goal by Kayla Baar.
- Claire VanZanten added to the Cougars' lead with her tally in the 76th minute.
- Spring Arbor registered 16 shots while limiting Trinity Christian to just two. The Cougars also finished with a 6-1 advantage in corner kicks.
