UPLAND, Ind. – The Spring Arbor University baseball team was swept in a four-game series over the weekend against No. 3 ranked Taylor University in Upland, Indiana.
The Trojans took the games by scores of 17-3, 15-6, 14-4 and 3-2.
Joey Tessmer hit .500 over the weekend, going 5-for-10 at the plate with three doubles and five RBIs.
Brenden Phillips batted .455 (5-for-11) with a double, a home run, two RBIs and two runs scored while
Aiden Brunin drove in three and scored twice.
Spring Arbor will look to bounce back when it returns home to Hank Burbridge Field for a four-game series against Marian University on March 20-21.
