SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University women's tennis team fell 5-2 to No. 21 Indiana Wesleyan University on Monday in Crossroads League action at the Jones Tennis Complex.
With the result, the Cougars move to 6-10 overall and 1-3 in conference play.
Indiana Wesleyan claimed the doubles point by winning two of the three matches. Spring Arbor picked up a win at No. 2 doubles, where
Isabel Abraham and
Victoria Herrington secured a 6-3 victory.
In singles play, the Cougars earned two wins. Herrington delivered a straight-set victory at No. 2, while
Madelyn Dell added a dominant 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 6.
Despite those efforts, Indiana Wesleyan secured wins in four singles matches to clinch the team victory.
