SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University men's tennis team was defeated by No. 10 ranked Huntington University 7-0 on Saturday at the Jones Tennis Complex.
The Cougars move to 8-10 overall and 2-5 in Crossroads League play.
Huntington claimed the doubles point with wins in all three matches, taking early control of the contest.
In singles play, the Foresters continued their strong performance, winning all six matches in straight sets to secure the sweep.
Aziz Madatov competed well at No. 1 singles, falling by a pair of 6-4 scores, while
Andrei Negrut pushed his match to a competitive second set at No. 4 before dropping a 7-5 decision.
