SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University men's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to No. 19 ranked Grace College on Friday at the Jones Tennis Complex in its regular season finale.
 
The Cougars move to 9-11 overall and 3-6 in Crossroads League play.
 
Grace claimed the doubles point with wins in all three matches to take an early lead.
 
In singles play, Daniel Rodriguez Fortes earned the lone point for Spring Arbor with a 6-2, 7-5 victory at No. 3.
 
Aziz Madatov competed well at the top spot, falling 6-3, 6-4, while Andrei Negrut pushed his opening set to a tiebreak at No. 4 before dropping the match.
 
Grace secured the remaining singles matches to complete the 6-1 win.
