Summary

Biography

David played at the #1 singles position and set a school record with a 24-3 win-loss record. At #2 doubles he teamed with Rafa Schuster in the fall and Nathan Scholten in the spring to amass a 28-3 record in doubles and a combined singles/doubles school record of 52-7. He was selected as an MCC All-Conference player for the 3rd consecutive year, was a 1st team NCCAA All-American for the 2nd consecutive year and was voted onto the NCCAA All-tournament team at the NCCAA national event in Mobile, AL. David also was selected as an NAIA All-American Honorable Mention player.

Coach's comments-"David had a break-out year. Not only was he undefeated in the conference last fall at the #1 singles position (11-0), he followed it up with some great play this spring. It will be fun to see what he can accomplish in his final season at SAU next year."
