Biography
Thomas transferred to SAU from
Western Michigan University this past fall and played at the #2 singles and #1
doubles positions. His singles record was 15-6 and in doubles he was 25-5.
Thomas was an MCC All-conference selection, a 1st team NCCAA
All-American and received NAIA All-American Honorable Mention.
Coach's
comments- "When
Thomas arrived he made an immediate impact on our team. He is an especially
gifted doubles player who had already had some great wins at the NCAA Division
1 level before arriving at SAU so he was not at all intimidated by what he ran
into during our season. Thomas also kept getting better as a singles player
over the course of the season and we are excited to see what he will be able to
do in his senior year."
