Chris Benedict

Chris Benedict is entering his ninth year of providing athletic training services to Spring Arbor University. His primary sports are with women’s soccer, softball, men's and women’s bowling, men's and women’s tennis, and cheer.

Benedict graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Grand Valley State University in 2014. Prior to working at SAU, he worked at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, as well as the Jersey Surf Drum and Bugle Corps. He has also spent time providing athletic training services to Lansing United Football Club of the United Women’s Soccer League, and to Lansing City Football Club of the USL League 2.

Benedict was present at all three SAU national championships, and is the proud owner of three championship rings. In his free time, he enjoys doing play-by-play for sports on local radio, podcasting, playing the trombone, and hanging out with his wife Jennifer, dog Bubba, and their young baby boy James.
