The Spring Arbor University women's soccer team continues to spread the offensive wealth around this season.  The Cougars blanked another conference foe Saturday with a 4-0 upending of Marian University.  Three different Cougars found the net, led by freshman Corrie Good who tallied twice on the evening.

Good notched the game winner just four minutes into the contest when she took a perfect ball from sophomore Nikki Bonnema and darted in on goal aone, slotting the ball under Knight goalkeeper Madeline Weber for her third goal of the season.  

Senior Ashley DeNio added some insurance when junior Sam Sturgeon played a ball over the top of the Knight defense and into a back post run that the Woodland Park, CO native was making.  DeNio muscled the ball home to make the score 2-0 in the 35th minute.

Fellow senior Karly Linton netted a beautiful goal for her 12th tally of the season when she navigated a pair of defenders near the top of the Marian penalty area and unleashed a low bullet that beat Weber to the far post in the 39th minute.

Good earned a bookend goal early in the first half, taking a flick off the head of senior Brooklyn Morgan and burying it past Weber to make the spread 4-0.

Spring Arbor out-shot the visitors 28-8 and held a 10-0 edge in corner kicks on the evening.

Goalkeepers Sarah Yancer and Ashley Timmons combined to earn the shutout for SAU.  The Cougars have conceded just one goal in the past six games, outscoring their opponents 20-1 over that stretch.

Ninth ranked Spring Arbor (9-2-1 /3-0) is back in action next Wednesday when they welcome the University of St Francis (8-3./3-0) to campus for a battle of the Crossroads League unbeatens.  Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
