Karly Linton - Freshman - Midfield
Midland, Michigan - Bullock Creek High School
Linton joins the Lady Cougars as a freshman in 2010. Linton is one of the most prolific goal scorers in Michigan High School Athletic Association history with more than 120 career tallies to her credit.
Coach's Comments - "I expect Karly to be able to contribute right out of the gate. She has a good understanding of the game and is also quite skilled with the ball at her feet. She is a scrappy player who doesn't mind getting stuck in on hard tackles, yet she has a polished game as well and can make defenders miss and unbalance defenses with her dribble. I am looking forward to seeing how she fits into our current midfield. I think that she will be an exciting player to watch."
High School - Linton tallied 126 career high school goals as a four year varsity player at Bullock Creek High School... prepped under father Bob Linton who played two years as a defender for Spring Arbor College in 1987-88... played club soccer for Vardar Soccer Club... Linton's Vardar '92 team won six consecutive State Cup Championships... four time MHSAA All State selection.
Personal - Daughter of Bob and Lynette Linton of Midland Michigan. Has two brothers, Micah and Brady and two sisters, Taylor and Madison. Plans to major in Health and Human Performance or Pre-Medical Studies at Spring Arbor University.
