LAKE WINONA, IN – Grace College took the upper hand against the Spring Arbor University Volleyball team on Friday night in straight sets 25-17, 25-13, 25-17.
Spring Arbor couldn't gain any momentum in the one hour, twenty minute match on the eve before the Cougars will enjoy their home opener against the Huntington University Foresters.
Tenille Marowelli led the Lady Cougars with 16 assists, two kills, and 11 digs. Alyssa Frees had eight kills and six digs on the night.
Spring Arbor University, which fell to 4-6, 0-2, will host the Foresters with a 2:00 start on Saturday. Huntington, which fell to St. Francis tonight enters tomorrow's game with a record of 2-5, 1-1.
