Women's Tennis Falls to Marian

SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University women's tennis team fell to Marian University 9-0 on Tuesday afternoon. The loss dropped the Cougars to 2-2 overall and in the Crossroads League while the Knights improved to 4-1 on the season.

Marian, last year's regular season conference champions, took all three doubles matches to grab a 3-0 lead heading into singles play. From there, the Knights picked up straight-set wins in all but one match as senior Quincy Banini dropped a hard-fought battle at No. 1 singles, 2-6, 6-2, 13-11.

Spring Arbor will look to bounce back when it visits Goshen College on Saturday, Sept. 19 at 11 a.m.
