UPLAND, Ind. – The Spring Arbor University volleyball team continued its road swing with a visit to Crossroads League foe Taylor University on Wednesday night.

In her first visit back to Upland, Indiana since taking the reins of the program at Spring Arbor, head coach Betsy Martinez, who was a four-time All-American at Taylor from 2008-12, was looking to lead the Cougars in an upset bid of the Trojans. The loss dropped Spring Arbor to 5-15 on the season and 1-9 in the conference while Taylor improved to 9-9 overall and 6-4 in league play.

Junior outside hitter Rebekah Kujat registered a team-high 11 kills while sophomores Leah Rose and Olivia Landis finished with six apiece. Freshman Kasey Follis dished out 20 assists and fellow freshman Annica Stotz added seven with a team-best nine digs. Sophomore Courtney Kyser led the Cougars with four blocks while Follis and Rose posted three each.
