ADRIAN, Mich. – the Spring Arbor University volleyball team dropped a three-set decision to Siena Heights University in non-conference action on Monday night.

MATCH BREAKDOWN
- SET SCORES: 25-17, 25-21, 25-21
- Spring Arbor limited one of the WHAC's best hitting teams to just a .151 hitting percentage on the night, but was unable to find enough offense to take down the host Saints.
- Courtney Kyser matched her career-high with nine kills to pace the attack for the Cougars. Kasey Follis added eight kills while Rebekah Kujat chipped in seven. Annica Stotz finished the match with 24 assists.
- Taylor Johnston and Gabrielle Hilliard registered 11 digs apiece to lead the defensive effort. Leah Rose also finished in double figures with 10.
- Maggie Watson and Kyser finished with three blocks each.
FOR THE FOES
- Paige Hudgin was the lone Saint to record double-digit kills, finishing the match with 10. Libby Brenton and Taylor Felver followed with six apiece.
- Amanda Metz registered a double-double with 25 assists and 18 digs.
UP NEXT
The Cougars will jump back into Crossroads League play with a trip to No. 23 Indiana Wesleyan University (21-1, 11-0 CL) on Wednesday, Oct. 12 before wrapping up the week at the University of Saint Francis (Ill.) Big Guns Classic on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 14-15.
