DESTINY RESCUE
Spring Arbor and Taylor joined teams from around the Crossroads League to support Destiny Rescue on Wednesday night.
Destiny Rescue is an internationally recognized Christian non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing and restoring children trapped in the sex trade. Since 2011, Destiny Rescue has saved nearly 2,000 children enslaved around the world and prevented hundreds more from entering the sex trade through various prevention and awareness programs.
The cost to rescue one child is $1,500 and the goal was to raise enough funds from tonight's five Crossroads League games to save at least five children. Funds were collected at each game through donations, t-shirt sales and the selling of jewelry products made by girls who have been rescued by Destiny Rescue.
