GOSHEN, Ind. – The Spring Arbor University volleyball team closed its season in impressive fashion with a 3-0 win at Goshen College on Saturday afternoon.
The Cougars bounced back for their 10th victory of the season after dropping a three-set contest at the University of Saint Francis on Friday evening. SAU's 10 wins are the most by the program since the 2011 campaign.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- SET SCORES: 25-21, 26-24, 25-21
- Courtney Kyser led the attack with 10 kills on 16 swings. Kasey Follis followed with eight kills and Sydney Ritz chipped in seven.
- Annica Stotz handed out 24 assists while Emily Martin finished with 13.
- The defense was anchored by Stephaney Fifield with 16 digs.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- SET SCORES: 25-17, 25-13, 25-20
- Back-to-back aces from Fifield sparked a late 8-2 run by the Cougars to end the first set.
- Midway through the second set, SAU tallied nine consecutive points punctuated by a kill from Audra Rupp.
- Attempting to avoid the sweep, Goshen fought back in the third set. The Maple Leafs only trailed 19-17, but two straight errors from the home team put SAU in control. Kyser put the Leafs away with her ninth kill of the match.
- Kyser led the way again with her nine kills. Alyssa Walker registered seven and Rupp followed with six. Maggie Watson and Ritz totaled four each.
- Stotz and Martin combined for 28 assists.
- Fifield collected a match-high 19 digs.
