UPLAND, Ind. – The Spring Arbor University volleyball team was defeated by Taylor University in three sets on Saturday afternoon in Crossroads League action.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- SET SCORES: 25-19, 25-10, 25-19
- Taylor held Spring Arbor under a .100 hitting percentage in each of the first two sets.
- The Cougars rallied late in the third set to trim the deficit to 23-19, but consecutive kills by the Trojans put the match away.
- Sydney Ritz posted a team-high nine kills while Paige Porter followed with six and Courtney Kyser added five.
- Annica Stotz had 17 assists and Stephaney Fifield registered two aces.
- Porter completed the double-double with a team-best 16 digs.
FOR TAYLOR
- Addy Bailey and Kayla Springer led the Trojans with 10 and eight kills, respectively.
- Haley Harrell finished with a double-double with 16 assists and 10 digs.
