UPLAND, Ind. – The No. 2 ranked Spring Arbor University women's soccer team took down No. 21 Taylor University 2-0 on the road Saturday to remain unbeaten in the Crossroads League.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Spring Arbor got on the scoreboard in the 25th minute when Renee Broekhuizen beat the Taylor goalkeeper on a free kick from 20 yards out.
- The Cougars doubled their lead early in the second half after Morgan Marshall found the back of the net in the 49th minute.
- Spring Arbor finished with 17 shots while Taylor posted nine. The Cougars also earned three corner kicks and held the Trojans to just one opportunity.
- Goalkeeper Ashley Timmons earned the clean sheet making four saves.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE
- Spring Arbor won its 17th straight game against Taylor dating back to the 2006 season.
- It was the fourth win for SAU against an opponent ranked or receiving votes in the Top 25.
- The shutout was the ninth for the Cougars this season.
