Box Score SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The No. 14 ranked Spring Arbor University men's soccer team extended its winning streak to eight games with a dominant 5-0 victory over Marian University Saturday evening at the Cougar Soccer Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Spring Arbor scored three goals during a 12-minute span in the first half. Morris Kamara got the scoring started in the ninth minute, taking a throw in from Stephen Gabriele and beating his defender down the sideline before chipping a shot over the Marian goalkeeper. In the 21st minute, Brian D'Ascenzo finished a perfect cross from Jacob Crull to double the lead. Less than a minute later, a cross from Gabriele was redirected by a Knight defender into the back of the net for an own goal.
- Roderic Green continued his red-hot play scoring less than five minutes into the second half. The goal was Green's fifth in his last five games.
- The game's final tally came in the 87th minute when Cole Russell capitalized off a Marian turnover deep in its own zone.
- The Cougars limited the Knights to just two shots on the day while recording 14 themselves.
- The shutout was the third straight for SAU, and the fourth in the last five matches.
