WINONA LAKE, Ind. – The Spring Arbor University women's basketball team fell behind early against Grace College and was never able to recover, falling to the Lancers 96-65 on Wednesday night at the Manahan Orthopaedic Capital Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Grace began the game red-hot from the field, making its first seven shots on the way to building an 18-0 lead.
- Spring Arbor would close the gap to nine by the end of the first quarter, but the Lancers quickly pushed the margin back to double digits in the second quarter and never looked back.
FOR THE COUGARS
- Gracie Cabana scored a team-high 16 points and Rachel Nelson followed with 15 points and five rebounds. Ali Gerka chipped in a season-high 11 points off the bench.
- The Cougars connected on 41 percent (23-for-56) of their field goal attempts and hit nine three-pointers.
FOR THE LANCERS
- Grace's 96 points were the most scored on Spring Arbor this season.
- Brooke Sugg led the Lancers with 40 points while three other players also scored in double figures.
- Grace shot 50 percent (34-for-68) on the night.
