SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University women's basketball team fell to Crossroads League leader, and No. 5 ranked, Marian University 89-44 at home on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The two-time defending national champions started strong and never looked back. The Knights made four of their first five shots, including a pair of three-pointers, to race out to an 11-4 lead.
- Marian, which owns the league's top scoring offense, expanded the lead in the second quarter, using a 12-3 run over the final four minutes of the period en route to the team's 12th consecutive victory.

- Marian was led by Dejah Cyrus, who had a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds.
- The Knights were red-hot from the field shooting 58 percent (35-for-60), including 45 percent (10-for-22) from behind the arc.
