Hannah Rozeveld drove in the game's first run with a bases loaded single to left field. Nowe, the very next batter, cleared the bases with her second grand slam, and third home run, of the season. The Cougars were not done yet though as Kelsey Brown drove in a pair with a double, and Brown would come around to score on a base hit by Hope Longenbarger.
  • Goshen cut into the deficit with two runs in the fourth, but SAU answered in the home half of the frame with a solo homer from Jordan Burman.
  • Burman finished the game going 2-for-2 at the plate, including her fifth long ball of the season, with two runs scored. Brown also scored twice and Nowe collected four RBI's.
