SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – Four goals during a 10-minute stretch in the first half propelled the No. 1 ranked Spring Arbor University women's soccer team to a 5-0 victory over Lawrence Tech on Tuesday at the Cougar Soccer Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- An offensive outburst midway through the first half provided Spring Arbor with all the scoring it would need against the Blue Devils. The Cougars tallied four goals between the 21st and 31st minute, including two by senior Bethany Balcer and the first collegiate goal from freshman Alicia Hall.
- After taking a 4-0 lead into halftime, Spring Arbor would add one more goal in the second half with Lauren Orr finding the back of the net in the 70th minute.
- Three SAU goalkeepers, Allison Keizer, Samantha Tracey and Emily Ponstein, combined to make three saves in the shutout.
- The Cougars outshot the Blue Devils 28-5 on the afternoon.
