SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – A pair of first half goals were enough for the No. 1 ranked Cougars on Saturday, as the Spring Arbor University women's soccer defeated No. 17 Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (Ariz.) 2-0 to remain unbeaten.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The top-25 showdown was a rematch of last year's NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship second round game in which Spring Arbor defeated Embry-Riddle 4-2 on its way to winning the national title.
- Kaley Buck put the Cougars in front in the 12th minute when she cleaned up a bouncing ball in front of the net after a corner kick from Malorie Henderlong.
- Just over four minutes later, freshman Alicia Hall beat the ERAU goalkeeper on a breakaway to double the advantage.
- Goalkeeper Allison Keizer finished the afternoon with six saves in the shutout effort.
- Spring Arbor and Embry-Riddle recorded 13 shots each.
