UPLAND, Ind. – The Spring Arbor University volleyball team earned its second straight road win with a 3-1 victory over Taylor University on Saturday.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
- Spring Arbor secured its first win over Taylor since the 2006 season.
- The two teams were tied at one set each after the first two sets and tied 16-16 in the third set before SAU closed the frame on a huge 9-4 run to grab control. Sydney Ritz and Claudia Ellis combined for five kills over the final nine Cougar points.
- The fourth set was also closely contested. The Cougars were clinging to a 22-21 lead before Ritz and Ellis closed out the match with three consecutive kills.
- Ritz posted a team-high 15 kills and Alison Ford followed with 12. Kyara Black ended the afternoon with eight kills while Ellis and Macey Rupp chipped in five apiece.
- Annica Stotz recorded her third double-double of the season with 37 assists and 14 digs.
- Three other Cougars had double-digit digs, including Stephaney Fifield with 19, Alyssa Walker with 15 and Mackay Heasley with 11.
- Spring Arbor had a season-high 28 blocks. Ellis was credited with eight rejections while Black and Rupp registered six each.
