PITTSBURGH – The No. 1 ranked Spring Arbor University women's soccer team recorded its fourth straight shutout victory Monday with a 3-0 win over Carlow University to conclude the non-conference portion of its schedule.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The two teams went into halftime scoreless, but Spring Arbor broke things open with two goals in the first 15 minutes of the second half. Kaley Buck connected with Bethany Balcer for the first goal in the 56th minute and Casandra Besteman found the back of the net for the first time this season less than four minutes later.
- Freshman Makenzie Selvius recorded her first collegiate goal with a marker in the 68th minute with an assist from Madison Dudley.
- Spring Arbor outshot Carlow 20-2 in the match.
- Emily Ponstein stopped the only shot she faced in goal as her and Samantha Tracey combined for the shutout.
