SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The No. 1 ranked Spring Arbor University women's soccer team opened Crossroads League play Wednesday evening by taking down No. 22, and previously unbeaten, Taylor University 2-0 at the Cougar Soccer Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Kaley Buck put one in the back of the net in the first five minutes and that would prove to be all Spring Arbor needed.
- The Cougars added an insurance goal in the 64th minute off Bethany Balcer's ninth goal of the season.
- Spring Arbor outshot the No. 22 ranked Trojans 19-5 on the night.
- Goalkeeper Allison Keizer stopped both shots she faced to record the shutout.
