ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Senior defender Haley Lord scored her first career goal as the No. 1 ranked Spring Arbor University women's soccer team defeated Concordia University 2-0 on the road Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Spring Arbor handed Concordia its first loss of the season.
- Lord's first career goal in the 17th minute was the difference maker. The senior defender blasted a shot from 25 yards out and beat the goalkeeper to the upper corner of the net.
- That was how the score remained until the 75th minute when Kaley Buck provided an insurance goal for SAU.
- The Cougars racked up 27 shots while holding the Cardinals to five, including just one on goal.
