Box Score 2 SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University volleyball team fell to Huntington University in five sets on Saturday afternoon in the McDonald Athletic Center.
The Cougars dropped the first two sets before rallying and claiming the next two to force a decisive fifth set. However, the Foresters were able to hold off the charge and escape with the victory.
Prior to Saturday's match, SAU fell to Grace College 3-1 on Friday night.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
- Grace took control of the match by winning the first two sets, and would ultimately claim the match in four sets.
- The Lancers hit .266 as a team while holding SAU to a .052 hitting percentage.
- Sydney Ritz was the team leader in kills with nine and Macey Rupp followed with six. Hope Notter and Emily Martin combined for 27 assists.
- Paige Porter and Ritz finished with 13 and 11 digs, respectively. Kyara Black recorded seven blocks while Sarah Schmid and Allison Nibbelink posted four apiece.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
- Like Friday night, Spring Arbor fell behind two-sets-to-none, but fought its way back. The Cougars were dominant in set three and four, holding Huntington to a .026 and .056 hitting percentage.
- In the fifth set, the Foresters opened up an early 5-1 lead on their way to earning the win.
- Black tallied a team-high 10 kills with a .389 hitting percentage. She also registered a match-high eight blocks.
- Ritz and Rupp had nine kills apiece while Nibbelink and Maggie Watson had seven. Notter and Martin handed out 20 assists each.
- Three Cougars had double-digit digs, including Porter with a match-high 24. Ritz finished with 16 and Sarah Chastain collected 10.
