Box Score UPLAND, Ind. – The Spring Arbor University volleyball team battled Taylor University close, needing extra points in two sets, but ultimately fell to the Trojans in three sets (28-26, 26-24, 25-15) on Wednesday night inside Odle Arena.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
- The first two sets went to extra points, including a 28-26 first set. Spring Arbor battled back from a 24-19 deficit in the first frame, scoring five straight points, but was unable to complete the comeback.
- The Cougars fought off one set point again in the second set before Taylor escaped with a 26-24 victory.
- SAU led 4-3 early in the third set, but a 10-2 run by the Trojans put the home team in control.
- Sydney Ritz had a team-high 13 kills followed by Macey Rupp with seven and and Kyara Black with six. Hope Notter finished with 21 assists.
- Paige Porter posted a match-high 15 digs while Claudia Ellis had five blocks.
